Generally speaking, steel lined plastic storage tanks have a certain service life, but a series of problems may also occur during use. Therefore, to prevent the occurrence of problems during use, it is not necessary to regularly maintain and repair them.
The maintenance cycle of steel lined plastic storage tanks is divided into two types: medium maintenance and major maintenance. Medium maintenance generally takes 2-4 months, and major maintenance generally takes one year. For medium maintenance, it is to clean or replace the liquid level gauge or replace the inlet, outlet, and discharge valves to clear the cooling water coil. Inspect and repair the safety valve vent flame arrester, repair the anti-corrosion and insulation layers. Major repairs include repairing the internal components of storage tanks in intermediate repair projects, and repairing or replacing cylinder sections in areas where cracks, severe corrosion, and other issues are found. According to the requirements of internal and external inspections, as well as after repairing or replacing the cylinder section, leakage testing is required to address other issues found during the internal and external inspections of the storage tank.
